The following are rough ideas for layout of Legacy home page…

AHHA home page layout_1
Idea is to have large AHHA logo in header. Have logo coded to be hyperlink to home page (which is common these days)
It is AHHA policy that AHHA logo is always to be largest sized logo on any page.
Currently Contact Us is both in header menu bar AND footer button. Ideas is to change to only have Contact Us link be from button in footer, as after AHHA is dissolved it will not be as important.
The above will remove two items from header menu bar, which allows room for large logo.
Wording of Announcement notice should probably be one for when Legacy site activates and another for when AHHA is legally dissolved.  See an initial draft in last item on this document for when AHHA is actually dissolved. These versions should aim to be smaller than the current Announcement.

Need to correct the right hand column to have the grey background corrected to be under ALL of the Wellness Quiz questions. And the MORE button (link to the Quiz answers) to be after the last question.

Really need to update the pie chart percentages. Would be great if KWW had these, and their copyright would be on Legacy ahha.org home page — showing the appropriateness of selecting them.

We are removing a number of items from the footer picture menu segment, ending up with three rows of four in a row.
The pictures can be rearranged. Once the order is agreed upon, we need to consider if we want all of the labels under the photos to be same color (teal?) OR one each of four colors in a single row with 4 photos.
Note that the buttons in the footer are now only four (after removing signing up for free eReports and for a survey).
Normally the bottom of the screen has AHHA name and contact information. Do you like text “Legacy ahha.org website for American Holistic Health Association”?

This is using the title box preferred. How can we make the title box smaller? How can we make the notice box smaller?

On pages after the home page, we have been advised it is important to also include the notice about AHHA being dissolved – in case the site visitor is landing on a page other than the home page. If we have the current sized title box and the current size announcement box, among with the header, it is a long way down to the start of the content for that page. Idea is to reduce the size of both the title box and announcement box on all of these non-home pages. The announcement box message can be kept short. The title box can be scaled down and using less blank space. (or include more in title box?)

Here is a second option (with 2 versions) for handling the title box on the pages other than home page. This is taking idea from the AHHA website under development that was never finished. Title box background is the photo, then white text on top of photo.

Option 1 of this version has the title box photo larger and stationary. The introductory text is included in white text on top of photo — with photo staying in place and the white text moving up and down as the cursor gradually exposes all of the page.

Option 2 of this version could be very simple. Photo fills the title box area with just title and sub-title in white text on lower portion of stationary photo.
