AHHA Organizational Membership

1) Tax deduction
AHHA is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. Our tax ID number 33-0412714 appears on your contribution receipt. If you are looking for a tax deduction, this may qualify for your specific needs.

2) Member listing
Your company or organization will have an individual listing about what you offer in the Self-Help Tools database at https://ahha.org/selfhelp-tools/ that includes AHHA Organizational Member listings. Listing content is authorized in the AHHA Organizational Membership application form.

3) Attach flyer to listing
AHHA Organizational Members are invited to submit a flyer with details about what their company or organization offers to be linked off your listing in the Self-Help Tools database. This flyer is also posted in a group in the Members Only Section. Guidelines to participate in this opportunity are posted at Submit OM Flyer.

4) Membership certificate
Your company or organization will be emailed an AHHA membership certificate in digital format. Please note that this certificate of membership is not AHHA certifying what your company or organization offers.

5) Extra promotional option
Does what your company or organization offers lend itself to offering a small discount or special offer? AHHA Organizational Members have an extra benefit that gives them the opportunity to offer discounts to other AHHA members. 6) Use of AHHA logo
Active AHHA members may use a special AHHA logo with their website and marketing materials as long as they adhere to the following authorized guidelines.

  • Members can only use the special AHHA logo with the word MEMBER included. (Provided by AHHA office)
  • The special AHHA logo is only to be used to indicate AHHA membership.
  • No other relationship with AHHA can be stated or implied.
  • Only the actual individual or organization holding an active AHHA membership may use the special AHHA
  • The size and placement of the special AHHA logo must be significantly smaller than any logo or reference of the member’s company or practice.

7) Member newsletter
Every two months AHHA publishes a newsletter exclusively for active AHHA members to keep you informed about the latest AHHA organizational developments. It also includes information about new and renewing Practitioner and Organizational memberships for the previous two months. This means your information will be shared with other members once a year. Because AHHA does not have permission to share data on General members, none are mentioned in the newsletter.

Has your company or organization created any brief, online, educational video clips? You may have up to six video listings at a time in our online AHHA Self-Help Videos database at https://ahha.org/selfhelp-videos/. 10) Self-Help Media listings
Has your company or organization produced an educational, health-related book, CD, or DVD that you offer for sale? You may have up to five media listings at a time in our online Self-Help Media database at https://ahha.org/health-related-media/. 11) Online Calendar
Does your company or organization sponsor a health-related event? Does a company leader or staff member do public speaking? AHHA members may have event listings posted on our online Health Calendar at https://ahha.org/calendar/. Guidelines to participate in this opportunity are posted at Submit Calendar Listing.

12) Facebook posts
AHHA has a Facebook page and is offering members opportunities to have appropriate postings. You may have up to five Facebook posts per 12 month period. Guidelines to participate in this opportunity are posted at Submit Facebook Post.

15) Extra member opportunities
Occasionally special networking opportunities become appropriate.

13) New Grad Discount
Educational entities with active AHHA Organizational Membership under EDUCATION-Professional category may alert their new graduates of an opportunity for a 15% discount off their first 12 month AHHA Practitioner Membership, if they meet qualifying criteria and join AHHA within six months of their graduation date.
