Pain treatment options are in the news with the Purdue $6 billion lawsuit settlement for promoting OxyContin as low risk for addiction. With the tragic risk of drug addiction, anyone dealing with pain is smart to thoroughly explore the wide variety of non-drug pain options before turning to the medications with potential side effects and risks. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) does mention a number of non-drug options, but there are many more. Here is a list to give you a taste.
